We are well and truly into autumn with a bit of a chill in the air and unfortunately more wet weather forecast for most of the week to come. So, with things feeling a little dreary outside, what better way to brighten up a grey day than a tasty treat in the village and a trip to our fave…the lovely ANNA Cake Couture.
Tucked away on Boyces Avenue, you can’t help but be drawn in by their gorgeous window display and once inside, in their own words, ANNA has “more cake than you can shake a macaron at”! Their cubicakes are amazing with flavours that you won’t find anywhere else (malted date or banana and caramel anyone?) as are the incredible macarons which can be bought on their own or in a lovely gift box too. In addition to their two specialities they have all manner of deliciousness on offer too including cookies, muffins, traybakes, marshmallows and meringues. Need a gift for someone? Birthday biscuit boxes. Birthday/occasion cake? These can be specially made to order. Wedding cake? No problem whatsoever. Gift voucher for someone to treat themselves? Absolutely… there really is nothing that this fab team can’t do!
And as is that isn’t enough to tempt you, ANNA does some of the best coffee in Clifton too. Tastebuds tingling yet? They are open every day and we just cannot recommend them enough.
