Why Invest in Bristol?

Bristol has twice been named as the 'Best City in Britain to Live In' (source Sunday Times 2014 & 2017).

It consistently outperforms other cities in the country in terms of economy and quality of life. There are two thriving Universities, an airport, high employment and the housing market is booming. There is a strong housing market with great demand from both buyers and renters. Bristol has a technology and finance based economy with wonderful job prospects and opportunities with many companies having large offices here such as Hargreaves Lansdown, Airbus, Ovo, Imperial Brands and Nisbetts to name a few.

It tops the list of destinations for Londoners relocating out of the city. The standard of education is second to none with several independent schools in the top 200 in England, connection time to London Paddington from Bristol Parkway is 80 minutes and the quality of life includes award winning restaurants and sights and attractions such as the Harbour festival, International Balloon Festival, Clifton suspension bridge and SS Great Britain.

Overall increasing property prices in Bristol offer the potential for sizeable gains in 2024 and beyond, resulting in rental property in Bristol being an excellent choice for investment.

How can you maximise my return?

Our property refurbishment service has been specifically designed to maximise rental return for our landlords. A comparatively small investment to upgrade influential features can reap dividends for several decades, as you attract high quality tenants who are willing to pay a premium rental price for a premium property.

We'll identify all opportunities to maximise the rental income of your property, discussing the range of options and associated costs with you, so that you can make an informed decision on how to proceed. We'll then oversee the entire project from start to finish, making sure that schedules are fixed and deadlines are met, providing you with regular updates at agreed intervals to give you complete peace of mind.

As with all our services, we offer completely transparent pricing. None of the contracted services are marked up, in fact we benefit from preferred supplier discounts, savings that are passed directly on to you. Our refurbishment management fee is a fully transparent 12% of the overall project cost, including VAT. If you’d like to discuss the refurbishment of your property, please get in touch – we’d be delighted to hear from you.

What are your top tips for buying a Buy to Let Property?

Asking yourself 'would I want to live here?' is not a good starting point, as your own expectations may be very different to the 'average' tenant! That is why using us as a sounding board will help align your views to that of the average tenant.

We realise that the requirements of each potential client are different and are always very happy to discuss your specific circumstances with you in more detail.
