Say a huge hello to our loveliest new negotiator, Emma…

Meet the Team time again gang and today we are very excited to introduce you all to our negotiator, Emma, who joined us in November and is just one of the friendliest, bubbliest and most down to earth people you’ll ever meet!

How long you have been at Sarah Kenny and what is your position within team?
I am lucky enough to have joined SK as lettings negotiator in November 2018.

How long have you lived in Bristol?
I am originally from Italy – more specifically from a small town in Veneto near Venice called Rovigo. I left Italy in the year 2000 and had the amazing opportunity to work and travel in several fantastic tropical places around the world including the Maldives, Egypt, Zanzibar and Malta. I landed in the UK at the end of 2002 and spent my first three years here in gorgeous Bath and then moved to Bristol in 2015 when I bought my first house. I feel like Bristol is now home and I love it to bits!

What do you like about being part of team SK?
Prior to SK, I held a few different positions in both sales and lettings and I can confidently say that this is the most professional and organised company I have ever worked for with the very highest standards. Collaboration, care and politeness are all infused with friendliness and good humour each day – it’s the perfect place to enjoy your job!

Any hobbies or interests outside of work?
I love and enjoy an infinite number of diverse things and activities outside work but I tend to go through phases with each of them. Two things I cannot live without however are classical music and art. I try to go to concerts at Colston Hall and St. George’s as much as I can as well as taking the opportunity to spend weekends in London when special concerts come up. Lately, I have really enjoyed travelling around England visiting National Trust properties which has allowed me to discover new beautiful places and hidden gems.

From a physical activity point of view, I love hot yoga in winter and cycling, walking, horse riding and sailing in good weather too. On holiday scuba diving is an absolute must for me although I haven’t done it for a while now!

Favourite places to go or things to do in Bristol?
Throughout my years in England, I have gotten more and more into the Sunday roast tradition so, one of my favourite places to go for a Sunday lunch is The Bird in Hand in Long Ashton. Often, weather allowing, I walk from my home and back (so I can eat more and feel less guilty!!).

More locally, I love the Quadrant in Clifton village for an end-of-week drink with friends and in the summer time the terrace of the White Lion overlooking the Suspension Bridge.

To finish, and being Italian, I of course have to mention the best Italian restaurant (in my opinion) in Bristol, Aquila in Baldwin Street, where I go to enjoy authentic Italian dishes. Definitely a recommendation!

Emma is such a lovely addition to the team here at SK and we are thrilled to have her on board with us (for those of you looking for a property you’ll be lucky enough to meet her for your viewings too!) Make sure you all come back again at the same time next week as we say hello to Zoe, our fab new weekender…
