Hello again all… today we’re back with the second instalment of our “Meet the team” series with our lovely receptionist Bridgette. Ever wanted to know a little more about the friendly face who greets you all when you arrive in the office? Look no further!
How long you have been at Sarah Kenny and what is your position within team?
I began manning the reception desk in July of last year.
How long have you lived in Bristol?
I was born and raised on the outskirts of Auckland, New Zealand. After a year at university, I decided to put my studies on hold and travel around America and Europe. I came to visit my extended family in Bristol in 2015 and fell in love and decided to stay… it’s like a second home now!
What do you like about being part of team SK?
I love how my role enables me to constantly learn so much about lettings and property management, as well as helping people find their new home. My favourite moment in the job is witnessing the handing over of keys (along with a few house warming gifts) to our new tenants and seeing them start a new chapter in their lives.
Any hobbies or interests outside of work?
I’m very outdoorsy and love being active. I was introduced to kettlebells by a few of my fellow colleagues here at SK and have been addicted ever since. I also love to perform and have just started working as part of a Bristol based avant-garde theatre company in my spare time.
Favourite places to go or things to do in Bristol?
Currently, I love to grab a cake and coffee at Society Cafe by the harbourside or head out for a treaty brunch at Ceres in Stokes Croft. The Downs are a local favourite of mine to go for a run or relax in the sun!
