As a nation of baking lovers, I think it’s fairly safe to say that we love all things foodie and here in Bristol we are incredibly lucky to have one of the best culinary scenes across the UK. With new restaurants and eateries popping up regularly all over the place we are absolutely spoilt for choice and if you are anything like me, new places and new foods will make you want to try cooking up more adventurous things at home…cue the lovely Cooking It! in Bishopston.
Cooking It! is a cookery school based just 5 minutes off of Gloucester Road and it’s lovely and unique as it offers cooking classes for both adults and children alike. Their speciality is tapas and Spanish food but their baking classes for cakes, breads and puddings look pretty good too! With a whole host of courses available, all reasonably priced, (University Survival Guide to Cooking I think is just a brilliant idea) they also offer a Supper Club, cookery parties, team building events and personal chef services too.
Local businesses like these are real little gems and Cooking It! have events galore lined up over the coming months. After something a little bit different to do on an evening or weekend? I’ve just spotted a chocolate pot recipe on their website that I shall be trying out at home very soon too!
