For those of you that don’t know about it, Bristol Open Doors is one of the best weekends of the year for exploring this wonderful city of ours! A celebration of our history, architecture and fabulous culture, for one weekend only you can take a peek inside a multitude of fascinating buildings, join guided tours, take part in activities…and all COMPLETELY FREE!
Some of the amazing locations include Arnos Vale, Bristol Central Library, Bristol Old Vic, City Hall, Glenside Hospital Museum, Redcliffe Caves, SS Great Britain, St Mary Redcliffe, St Nick’s, Bottle Yard Studios, The Old Police Station, Underfall Yard…and the list goes on and on.
Running for three days from Friday 14th – Sunday 16th September, check out the full list of events and venues here. With lots added for this year, Open Doors looks set to be a great one for 2018 and it really is an incredible way to get to know a little bit more about the place we all call home.
