We The Curious are making a promise to the planet this Easter…

So, it’s half term and there are activities galore going on right across Bristol for those of you looking for things to do with the family. With so many to choose from, you’re set for a jam-packed Easter break but one that caught our eye in particular was the lovely programme which has recently been launched by We The Curious whereby all children taking part can learn about the positive actions we can take to tackle the challenges facing this wonderful planet of ours.

Running from this week until 27th April, the “Make a promise to the planet” activities are included within a general admission ticket and we just thought it was one of the loveliest things for children to be involved in. They can become an air detective and explore the future of air quality, look at the role of protein in our diet and think about its impact on our environment, partake in some 3D stargazing and take a trip around an incredible night sky (there is a £3.50 supplement for this but it sounds brilliant), go on a journey of discovery to learn all about what we need to survive and thrive with a live science show “Expedition Earth” and even be transported into the mind of a whale with Leviathan’s Temple to find out how climate change might affect their home and way of life.

With so much media coverage concerning pollution and world conservation at the moment, this is a fantastic way for children to learn and become really engaged in something important. And the nicest thing about it? At the end of the activities once their minds are filled with exciting new facts, they get to go into the Live Lab to become Change Makers themselves and make their very own pledge to the planet.

We The Curious, you are wonderful!
