There are so many brilliant places to eat and drink in Bristol that my list of places to try just seems to get longer and longer as it’s absolutely impossible to get around them all… Many a time have I driven past The Kensington Arms in Redland and wondered what it might be like inside and I was lucky enough to find out on Friday evening when we had our SK Christmas meal there.
Tucked away just off of Chandos Road, The Kenny is just a lovely, lovely pub and a real little gem. We had one of the two function rooms upstairs (the Mustard Room) and from the moment we arrived we could not have been made to feel more welcome. Owned by Josh Eggleton (The Pony & Trap, Salt & Malt, Root…need we say more?!), a lot of the food is sourced locally and the menu is classic British pub food. Just after a drink? The bar is excellently stocked with every type of beer, wine and spirit you could imagine too and with such lovely staff to look after you, it really is just a nice place to go, whatever you fancy…
