Christmas lights tonight in Clifton village!

It is officially that time of year again… frosty mornings, dark and cosy evenings and TIME FOR CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!! Every year, the Mall Gardens is lit up by a gorgeous 50 ft Norway Spruce (called Norman nonetheless!) and tonight is the night for the festive season to get underway here in our very own Clifton village.

Kicking off at 6pm will be carol singing with the Christ Church Choir followed by a short blessing by the reverend too. Then at 6.30pm the brilliant lights will be switched on where they will stay sparkling for us for the next eight weeks.

After the switch on extravaganza, all those attending are invited to the beautiful Clifton Arcade for some fizz, late night shopping and further choir performances by students at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school also. Organised by the fantastic BID Clifton Village, tonight’s event is in support of The Brandon Trust so well worth a visit – a lovely way to kick start all things festive here in the village and we hope to see some of you there!
