Bristol Aquarium is just lovely. Located right in the city centre just off of Millennium Square, the aquarium is home to thousands of aquatic creatures from all over the world including tropical sharks, rays, seahorses, puffer fish, piranhas, terrapins, freshwater fish, amazing varieties of tropical fish…and this coming Easter they are celebrating turning 10!
Starting next weekend and running until 28th April, there will be special celebrations being held with games, activities and lots more for anyone looking to visit and wish them a happy birthday! There are two underwater tunnels where you can see a coral reef filled with sea anemones and corals, an open bay of rays and as the only UK aquarium with an exotic botanical house, there is a brilliant urban jungle display too.
Open from 10am-5pm daily, the aquarium is a wonderful day out for all of the family with feeds and talks taking place every day of the week too. I’ve got young nieces who are dying to see the fish the next time they visit so we hope to get there soon and wish them all a very HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY!
