Farmdrop’s fantastic Food Busk

For those of you who have not been in the centre of town this week, you may not have seen what Farmdrop have been up to at the Spin Bar on the harbourside… Since last Friday they have been raising funds for St Mungo’s, a charity and housing association helping fight against homelessness throughout the UK, and doing quite a spectacular job!

All week long they have been cooking up a storm for members of the public and asking us to pay simply what we thing the food is worth with all proceeds passed onto St Mungo’s directly. The event is running until the end of this week with dishes a plenty available and tonight they will be holding a Zero Waste Supper Club with a menu designed by local loved ones Poco and Elly Pear in Stokes Croft and none other than our very own Nutmeg here in Clifton village. They will be using some fantastic seasonal produce which otherwise would have gone to waste to create some brilliant dishes and raise funds for the homeless here in Bristol.

An excellent cause and one well worth visiting if you get the chance…Farmdrop, a fantastic food event this certainly is and we think it’s brilliant.
